Postage Rates

We take great care in packing your order so it arrives safely and in perfect condition.

Many of our products are packed in glass and are quite heavy. To reduce the risk of damage in transit, postage is calculated based on parcel weight, and any order over 5 kg may be packed into multiple parcels so the order is protected.  You will not be charged additional postage for this.

Heavier parcels are more likely to be damaged if overloaded, and we would much rather your food arrive safely than risk breakages. If your parcel is damaged please read insurance information at the bottom of this page.

Please note: 99% of our online orders do not exceed 5kg in weight.

Orders are shipped via Australia Post within Australia.

Shipping rates are added during checkout.

Orders may be shipped the same day of order but generally the next business day.

How it works:

  1. Place your order at rangetasmania.com.au and select Free Local Pickup at checkout.
  2. We'll prepare and transfer your order to Middleton IGA.
  3. Your order is guaranteed to be ready for collection by 4:00 PM the next business day.
  4. You'll receive an email notification as soon as your order is ready to collect — if we get it there earlier, you'll hear from us straight away.
  5. Simply show your order confirmation when you collect.

Please Note: If you select this option by mistake, we will contact you to arrange payment of postage before your order is dispatched.

Large Orders (Over 10 kg)

Planning a large order? If your order is likely to exceed 10 kg, please get in touch with us before placing it. We'll work with you to do your order manually and find the most cost-effective courier option and make sure you're not paying more than you need to on delivery.

International Postage

Claiming Loss or Damage Insurance:

Australia Post now automatically includes insurance for loss or damage for our orders.

Australia Post now automatically includes up to $100.00 insurance for lost or damaged items.  If your purchase is greater than $100.00 we will include extra insurance at no cost to you to cover the full purchase price.

While we take every care when packing your order, if your parcel is lost or if it is damaged upon arrival, please take a photograph of it and speak to your local post office about putting in a claim. Australia Post requires the receiver of the goods to make the claim for lost or damaged items.
